From April 1^st - 5^th, 2019, four Tunisian start-ups attended the “Hannover Messe” in Germany. The Hannover Messer (Hanover fair) is the world’s most important event dedicated to industry and increasingly focusing towards start-ups and industry 4.0. It was an excellent opportunity for the Tunisian start-ups to connect with investors, business partners, innovators and potential clients through guided tours, exclusive B2Bs and a dedicated workshop.

The four start-ups ‘Enova Robotics’, ‘Incept’, ‘Avempace’ and ‘Wattnow’ were selected through a call for expression of interest and a thorough selection process.

• Enova Robotics is a company specialized in robot design and manufacturing through combined expertise in software, hardware and perception.
• Incept is a tech start-up providing experiential digital technologies and solutions at the cutting edge of Augmented Reality, Holographic Projection and Intelligence of Things.
• Avempace provides innovative technology solutions and engineering services such as digital audio solutions design, video transmission and artificial vision technologies.
• Wattnow helps companies gain actionable insights on their overall electricity usage trends, identify waste sources, and maintain optimal energy use across all of their locations.

Hannover Messe features all key technologies and industry sectors: from R&D to industrial automation, information technology, industrial supply, production technologies and services, energy and mobility technologies. This year’s focus was on the following key themes: artificial intelligence, robotics, digital twin, industry 4.0, integrated industry, light construction, logistics 4.0, platform economy, predictive maintenance and sector coupling. The fair had more than 220,000 visitors, 6,500 exhibitors, and more than 1,400 events.
