Protection of privacy

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy statement. The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. As far as personal data on our pages (e. g. name, address or e-mail addresses) is questioned, it is – if possible – always kept voluntarily. This data will not be forwarded to third parties without your consent. We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e. g. communication by e-mail) is always threatened by security vulnerabilities. A complete protection of the data against access by third parties is never possible.


Some of the Internet pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies are used to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and safe. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and are used to store your personal data. Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are deleted automatically at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit our website. You can set your browser in such a way, that you will be informed about the setting of cookies and that your browser will not accept cookies or allow cookies only in individual cases or only in certain cases or in general and you can set your browser to automatic deletion cookies when you close a website. Server Log Files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These data contains: Browser type and browser version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of server request. These data can not be assigned to specific persons. This data is not combined with other data sources. We reserve the right to check this data at a later date if we become aware of specific indications of illegal use.

Contact form

If you send us a message via our contact form, your there transmitted data will be stored to answer and to process your request. We will not forward your data to third parties without your consent.

Newsletter Data Protection

Following subscription to the newsletter, your e-mail address is used for our own advertising purposes until you cancel the newsletter again. Cancellation is possible at any time.

Any personal details collected as part of the press mailing list subscription will only be used for the purpose of processing the subscription and dealing with your enquiries. Any personal information that we collect apart from your address, especially the job function and medium that you work for, help us pinpoint and deliver topics relevant for your target audience. Your details will not be passed onto third parties. No use will be made of your details for consulting purposes, for advertising or for market research. If you cancel your subscription, all your personal details will be deleted from our database. Postal addresses and email addresses that you provide when you make an enquiry or order information materials are used exclusively for correspondence or delivery purposes. When you use other web-based services that require the submission of more extensive personal data, such as online job applications or registration for training courses, the data protection declarations adapted to those services will also apply.

Regular data erasure deadlines

Personal data is regularly erased when it is no longer needed for contractual purposes (for example for employment, subsidy, rental, sale or service contracts), if the data subject has not given any separate authorisation and if statutory data storage obligations and periods do not require longer periods of data storage.

Planned transfers of data to third countries

As a general principle, data will not be transferred to third countries. Exceptions are possible under exceptional legal circumstances.

The rights of the data subject

You are entitled to enquire about your personal data and its processing, to have the data corrected if necessary, and to request restriction of processing or the erasure of the data.  The data will then be erased.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the responsible data protection supervisory authority. The responsible authority in this case is the German Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BfDI).


This website uses the open source web analysis service Piwik. Piwik uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files that are stored on your computer and allow an analysis of your use of the website. For this purpose, the information generated by the cookie about the use of this website is stored on our server. The IP address is set to anonymous before saving. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website will not be passed on to third parties. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser software.

In this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website in full extend. If you do not agree with the storage and use of your data, you can deactivate the storage and use here, an opt-out cookie whithin your browser, which prevents Piwik from storing user data.

If you delete your cookies, this will also delete the Piwik Opt-Out cookie. The opt-out must be activated when re-visiting our website.

Social plug-ins from Facebook

We use social plug-ins from, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. If you for example click on the “Like” button or leave a comment, the relevant and stored there. Furthermore, Facebook makes your likes public for your Facebook friends. If you are logged into Facebook, it can assign the invocation of our page directly to your Facebook account. Even if you are not logged in or do not have a Facebook information is transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook account, your browser sends information (e.g. which web pages you have called up, your IP address) which is then stored by Facebook. For details about handling of your personal data by Facebook and your related rights, please refer to the data privacy policy of Facebook: If you do not want Facebook to map data collected about you via our Web sites to your Facebook account, you must log out of Facebook before you visit our web pages.

Social plug-ins from Twitter

With Twitter and its Retweet functions, we use social plug-ins from, operated by Twitter Inc. 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107. If you are logged in your Twitter account, information is transmitted from our site to Twitter. Our website uses the functions of the LinkedIn network. Provider is the LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Each time you call up one of our pages, as a functions of LinkedIn, a connection is established to the servers of LinkedIn. LinkedIn will be informed, that you have visited our Internet pages with your IP address. If you press the “Recommend” button by LinkedIn and are logged in to your account with LinkedIn, it is possible for LinkedIn to connect your visit on this website to you and your user account. We point this out, that we, as the provider of the pages, do not have any knowledge of the content of the transmitted data and its use through LinkedIn. Comment function on this website

For the comment function on this page, in addition to your comment, information about the time of writing, the comment, your e-mail address and – if you do not post anonymously – your chosen user name will be saved.

Storage of the IP address

Our comment function stores the IP addresses of users who write comments. Since we do not check comments on our site before they are published, we need this data to be able to take action against the author in case of violations of the law such as insulting behaviour or propaganda.

SSL encryption

This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as requests you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL encryption is enabled, third parties cannot read the data you transmit to us.

Right to information, deletion and blocking

You have the right at any time to acces information about your stored personal data, their origin, recipient and the purpose of the data processing as well as a as a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data.
