Developers in Vogue

Developers in Vogue trains women in the latest computer programming technologies and connects them to real-time projects and jobs to enable them apply their skills and earn an income. With a practical and project-oriented curriculum that focuses on problem solving, women are well prepared to use technology in order to tackle local problems. Launched in 2017 and with a community of over a hundred women, Developers in Vogue have already implemented digital projects on behalf of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Google, Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT), Stanbic Bank and other partners. Their work has been featured on BBC, International Telecommunication Union (ITU), Deutsche Welle and others. Their motto: “We believe that the future of technology is African and female.”
