John Kinuthia is a Board and CEO advisor, CEO-for-hire and CxO master consultant.

His Board and CEO Advisory specializes in strategy, change, M&A, mission-critical business troubleshooting, sensitive issue brainstorming, HR, failed project rescue, business-IT alignment, BC/DR, lean project delivery, succession planning, lean management, Oil & Gas, operations, large global projects management, complexity simplification, corporate training, and Board & CEO executive leadership strategy and solutions consulting.

He facilitates board leadership boot camps and team building coaching for leaders, managers and their teams, to help with change management, team cohesion and achievement of business objectives.

He is presently Executive Chairman of CHief Executive Strategies and Solutions (CHESS). He is ex-Big 4 (PwC).

Mr. Kinuthia was recruited by Europe’s top headhunters as Special Advisor to the Board Chair and Governing Council, (and later as CEO/Executive Director) for PIDG, a conglomerate of the World’s top 30 official aid donors and private investors; and later to head the UK Major Projects Authority as Director General, managing a £400 Billion portfolio. He declined these roles to return to Africa and build his continent.

John’s last US client was Global Fortune 1000 #1 Royal Dutch Shell, managing their top global billion-dollar projects.

His last EMEA client was as Group CEO and Vice Chairman of the Board for 30-year-old British-owned AITEC Conferences (UK), AITEC Africa, and Technical Exhibition Services.

John was Group CIO for CGX, a US global billion-dollar public company with 70 operating companies.

He was a Capgemini Group LPS Sr. Director, US infrastructure services practice leader and the North America National infrastructure management champion.

He is a distinguished keynote speaker, moderator and panelist at global business conferences and leadership events, including CIO100, WTO, Africa Security Summit, CEO Breakfast Briefing and Africa IoT Summit.
