#Africa4future is a joint accelerator program by the Tech-Entrepreneurship Initiative Make-IT in Africa (GIZ) and the Airbus BizLab startup program to support upcoming entrepreneurs in the field of aerospace technologies. Between January 15th to 17th start-ups from Kenya, Malawi, Ethiopia, Ivory Coast, Mali and South Africa came together in Nairobi for the kick-off workshop to identify individual milestones for the upcoming training program. As part of a pitch event, the teams presented their solutions in the sectors of health, infrastructure, logistics, agriculture, and water access to a public audience.
The kick-off workshop presents the beginning of a series of events, which will be hosted in the course of the coming six month. The program attempts to link the start-ups with different experts, clients and partners and to create a platform for direct knowledge exchange and cooperation.
